Never underestimate the power of the spirit within. As you may already know I have a deep fascination with the mind and spirit and I love sharing my knowledge with everyone. But I am a private person who enjoys about 30 seconds of fame and then craves solitude. Life is so peaceful and drama free, I can’t have it any other way. If you’re interested, then I have pages of knowledge and insight to share. If not, you can just surf the net and stare at pretty pictures and read my zany perspectives for fun.
What I have to share with you today is an amazing coincident. I had a friend, who had been down on her luck borderline suicidal. We hadn’t talked in a month and she had confessed during that time she felt like a complete failure, in relationships, friendships, etc. So I had her come over to do a little session with me. I had read up on the practice of high magick and kind of understood the theories. Basically to change your environment you have to change yourself. I am a total believer of prayer, but what is more powerful than a single person’s prayer is multiple people’s prayers. Ok, so by myself, I have seen my wishes come true, so now what if I added another person into my wish? Double power?
So I sat my friend in a circle and just to be creative we added tea lights around this circle. We sat in the middle. I told her to write down her wish and since this was her chance to get anything she wanted, so, she gave me a long list. One of them was to win attractive influential friends. She had always dreamed of working with the public in the limelight. So I sat in the south side of my room and had her dress a candle with some Venus and Jupiter oil for beauty and expansion. We lit the candle and I read to her the wishes out loud as if she had it already, (a hypnosis technique). Then I repeated it, to have it sink in as she had her eyes closed. I added my prayers for her too. Then I had her open her eyes as I burned the paper in front of her. I told her to just stare into the flames and let it put her into a trance. I had no idea what to wish for so I just said to be successful and loved by all. Safe enough wish right? She did the same for me.
The outcome? Get this; I had a trip to Las Vegas for a bachelorette party, it began with a rough flight. You’d think I’d have a miserable time but I really enjoyed myself after. So what does a girl do in vegas? Go clubbing of course. The strange thing that happened was that for some reason, I couldn’t get in this particular club for the longest time. Bouncers usually let me in right away when I go to any clubs, but that day it seemed impossible, but luckily this sweet Asian guy found my friends and I and helped us get in. He said we were with him and so they gave us VIP treatment. So he brought us over to his table where, I was face to face with Carson Daly from the Daly Show. This was totally not planned. Then the guy told us Mr. Daily was one of his clients, I was like oh, which company was he from. He told us he was part of the founding team of Myspace. I didn’t think that much of it until later. Well when I figured out what coincidence that was I was smitten nevertheless.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t the one to wish for fame so, I let that opportunity pass. I was thinking, Feng Shui and MTV or the Daly Show….I don’t know about that. Well, if my friend had gone with me she surely would have made an influential friend. And meanwhile back home she had hooked up with friends who were in the media business. For some reason they came and found her. In the process she found a potential love and business partner.
She called me later and said her wish came true. As for my wish, for some odd reason, my friends began worshipping me. They all joked and said “We love you Feng Shui Master, you’re the master, we’ll follow you everywhere.” It was probably because I helped them win back half of the money they lost. Had we had more time, probably more. Flattered. But seriously, I’m just a regular human being who knows people, patterns and luck, besides I always wants my folks to be winners. That includes my clients, friends and family. Perhaps that’s the secret to being worshipped, to love and give without regard. Whatever it is, it seemed to all mysteriously work out. Lately, I surprise myself more and more.
